Cellular systems

Your indication. The cells that matter.

Explore the disease-relevant cellular systems previously run on BioGPU, and how additional cellular systems can be sourced and set up for your program.

  • 150+cellular systems run on BioGPU
  • 10patient-derived
  • 5therapeutic areas

The library below shows the 98 systems documented in Anima's record of July 2026. Historical experience, not current inventory: availability is confirmed for each program.

Previously run on BioGPU does not mean available now

    Where BioGPU operates

Disease biology happens in cells. So does BioGPU.

BioGPU, the cellular biology runtime for AI agents, runs cellular network experiments in the cellular system your program needs. The cells are the environment, not the product: what you get is the evidence from inside them.

Disease-relevant cellular biology is not the whole disease in a dish. Each program defines what its cellular system can and cannot show. See how a program runs → Case study: rheumatoid arthritis in patient cells →

    Sourcing and set-up

    Don't see your indication?

BioGPU programs can be configured around additional disease-relevant cellular systems, including cells sourced or prepared for specific research requirements.

    1. A · Previously run

      Systems Anima has worked with

The 98 cellular systems in this library have been run on BioGPU before. For each program, current availability and qualification are confirmed separately.

    2. B · Sourced for you

      Additional disease-relevant cells

Cells can be procured through suppliers, biobanks and research collaborations, or provided by you.

    3. C · Set up for your program

      New experimental configurations

Configurations that need sourcing, culture, expansion, differentiation, co-culture or multicellular design can be assessed and qualified before experiments start. Not every configuration is established, and not every cell can be procured or cultured.

    From Anima's operating experience

Over ten years of pharma collaborations and internal programs, bringing a new cellular system onto BioGPU has usually taken less than three months.

Not a guarantee: timing depends on the cells and the configuration.

      Limits we state up front

      • Suspension cells are not imaged directly. They are applied as a treatment onto the adherent disease-relevant cells instead.
      • Co-culture and multicellular systems are assessed for each program. None is recorded in this library yet, and no co-culture reproduces a whole disease.
      • Previously run means Anima has experience with the system, not that it is available or qualified for your program today.

      Program inquiry

Explore a BioGPU program in your cellular context.

Tell us the disease, and the cellular system or target if you have them. We start with a feasibility discussion: which system fits, whether it has been run before, and what sourcing or set-up it would need.
